Linda Dollien Fitzgerald Murry, 65, of Louisville transitioned on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital.

Visitation 2pm - 3pm Saturday, September 14, 2024 at N Street Missionary Baptist Church 2914 South Sixth Street. Funeral to follow at 3pm.

Linda Dollien Fitzgerald Murry was born on Sunday, April 5, 1959, graduated from DuPont Manual High School in 1977 and she received a degree from Charm Beauty College in Louisville, Kentucky.

Linda professed hope in Jesus Christ at an early age and was originally baptized into the ‘N’ Street Missionary Baptist Church. Later as a preteen she was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church in Cincinnati Ohio. She returned to Louisville and then later in life she was reclaimed and refreshed with the gift of the Holy Ghost at Greater Bethel Temple Apostolic Church in the eighties under the leadership of the late District Elder William P. Foree.

Linda was a very faithful member of the church. She was a member of the Pastor’s choir. In her later years, Linda moved to Christian Prayer Life Center Church where she was an active member doing whatever her hands found to do including teaching Children’s Sunday School until her health begin to fail her.

Linda explored many different careers in her life. She worked for American Red Cross Daycare, Jefferson County Public Schools Bus Driver, Frisch’s Big Boy Prep Cook and was a Cosmetologist.

Linda Dollien Fitzgerald Murry, at the tender age of 65, a native of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah Harper Fitzgerald, three brothers: James Taylor Fitzgerald, Charleston Tyrone Fitzgerald and Stephen Bennett.

Linda is survived by her son Birdturam Narue Fitzgerald and two granddaughters: Banae Divine and Brielle Danae Fitzgerald; her sisters Lolita Lawson Bonds (Andre), Sarita Fields (Curtis) and brothers Doniel Fitzgerald, Clinton Bennett (Andrea), James Bennett; Sister-in-Law Beverly Fitzgerald, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many other loving family members and friends.
