Keith Andrew Cowherd, 63, of Louisville transitioned on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Visitation 10-12 Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Forest Tabernacle Baptist Church 5205 E. Indian Trail. Funeral to follow at 12. Burial Petersburg Newburg Cemetery.

Keith Andrew Cowherd was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on Friday, December 8, 1961 to proud parents Bertha Johnson Cowherd and Clarence Cowherd.

Around the age of five years old, Keith and his family moved to Louisville to seek better opportunities. He was a product of the Jefferson County Public School System, graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School.
Keith's Christian journey began when he gave his life to Christ and became a member of Forest Baptist Church. He was not just a "pew" member, but he served as a dedicated and faithful Usher, who took his job seriously, with all responsibilities of an Usher.

Keith was a jokester and could have been a stand-up comedian. He brought humor and laughter to the room, which dictates into, he brought joy and happiness with him. He was a people person, and rarely met a stranger.
In his quiet time, you could find him enjoying his cowboy movies, especially Gun Smoke. He was a diehard fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and the U of L Cardinals. Keith never missed an opportunity to talk about HIS teams.
Keith was an immaculate dresser. He took pride in his appearance, and when he stepped out, you knew he had it all together. He looked good in his clothes, and was a well- groomed man. GQ Unlimited should have been looking for him to advertise for them.

Finding employment was never a problem for Keith. His employment had a span of various jobs. He was a fence installer on horse farms, poured asphalt, groomed lawns, and was an employee in restaurants. When it's all said, Keith was a "Jack of all trades" and a master of many.

Sadly, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, Keith Andrew Cowherd gained his wings. His memories live on, and are cherished by his son, Andrew Keith Cowherd; mother, Bertha Cowherd; sister, Diane Johnson; brothers, Anthony Cowherd and Eric Tinsley; special companion, Cathy Pruitt; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
