Jermaine William Bishop, 42, of Louisville transitioned on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
Visitation 11am - 1pm Friday, December 22, 2023 a New Century Fellowship DOC& St. Stephen UCC 1875 Farnsley Road. Funeral to follow at 1pm. Burial Green Meadows Cemetery.
Jermaine William Bishop was born October 28, 1981, to the union of Zelda and Curtis Bishop in Louisville, KY. He was one of 5 children.
Educated in the Jefferson County Public School system, Jermaine obtained his high school diploma and graduated from Moore High School, class of 2000. Jermaine went on to pursue college and attended Eastern Kentucky University for two years.
Jermaine was employed with Jefferson County Public Schools as a custodian for 18 years.
Jermaine loved to spend time with family and his friends. Jermaine’s passion was young people and he looked out for many youth in the community.
Jermaine departed this life on Sunday, On December 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Sr and Dorothy Anderson, Curtis and Esther Bishop, his uncle Ronnie Conn, and older brother Shawn Wade.
Jermaine leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Zelda and Curtis Bishop, three children Harmoni Bishop, Aden Hall and Teriq Ross, three brothers Marcus (Ciceley), Craig (Sherelle), and Dewayne Stanley, life partner Erika Stevenson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
